Kenichi Kasamatsu

A mover and creator raised in Thailand, based in New York.

Hi! My name is Kenichi Kasamatsu and I am a dancer and choreographer currently based in New York City. I currently teach regularly at Peridance Capeizo Center and am a guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center. I also travel the nation to teach for Intrigue Dance Convention and Soul de Soul.

For the past 6 years of living here in New York, I’ve met and worked with some amazing mentors and choreographers. I’ve worked on live stage performances for artists such as Jennifer Lopez, NE-YO, and Daddy Yankee with some of the world’s most renowned choreographers including Nappytabs, Kyle Hanagami, and Tanisha Scott. My music video credits include Mark Ronson’s “I Can’t Lose” choreographed by Keone Madrid, and The Band Perry’s “Stay in the Dark” which was choreographed by Calvit Hodge Jr.

I currently also direct a dance team, aKompany. We aim to create and share content that aKompanies YOU on your journey so that you can be the best you can be and hope that you can join us in aKompanying us on our journey as well.

Thank you for taking a look at my website and please don’t hesitate to contact me for any questions, bookings, or otherwise!
